A Radical Argument: Saints lost 2 in a row due to Penalty Disparity.

I say that if the Penalty Disparity ratio was the opposite of what it's been the past two weeks, that the Saints would have won a game and would be NFC South Champs right now.

What is the solution to this Penalty Disparity? I'm beginning to suspect that it's a manufactured impediment that the League has intentionally created. Mind you, I say "suspect" because I have no proof of this "conspiracy theory."

Somebody in the Saints front office should do a thorough analysis of this issue and shed some light on this, but, the NFL would surely retaliate by making it even more obvious.

Man, that would be some weak shite. Can't blame everything on a penalty conspiracy. The Offensive Line isn't that great and the corners are getting caught holding off the line. The faster the game gets, the more they are going to be looking for that and opposing quarterbacks will be using it to their advantage.

What is not a lie is spiked data like this:

2019 stats:

In the first four games following the Saints bye, the Saints opponents have 21 first downs by penalty.

The Saints have 2 first downs by penalty.

Saints opponents in this four game stretch have committed 21 penalties for 146 yards.

In contrast, the Saints have committed 42 penalties for 410 yards.

Of the 23 first downs awarded by penalty in the Saints first four games since the bye, Saints opponents have 91.3% of the first downs awarded by penalty.

In contrast, the Saints have been awarded only 8.7% of the first downs by penalty.

If grafted on a curve, this spiked data would be evidence of an abnormal activity.

The four defeats in 2020 mimic this statistical spike.

Even some of the close Saints victories mimic this pattern.

You don't need the direct memos to the officiating crews emphasizing points of interest against certain teams or players to see in game manipulation.

The data points are not consistent with league averages and warrants scrutiny by fans.

The NFL is stated entertainment.

The NFL has committed no crimes making their games competitive by the handicapping points of emphasis.

The realization of the manipulation leaves the consumers with only one alternative:

Do I consume this product (entertainment) or do I move my money and time to a different perceived sport.

Ya'll are stupid if you don't think there is an agenda against the Saints. Last night the Saints d-line got egregiously held every play and there was never anything called. They called Ticky tacky defensive holding and PI all game. Then there is them calling in from New York to review that bullshite Cam Jordan ejection. That was one of the weakest ejections I have ever seen. Then you have that Taysom TD still being called short after replay clearly showed he was over the pile on.

Now lets talk about the Green Bay game. Countless drive saving PIs. Called a 4th and 1 stop a first with the runner nowhere near the marker. For which Payton had to challenge. Then blatantly ignored an OPI that helped them score.

Saints been getting fricked every since they called out that no call in the NFCCG. If the Saints make it to Green Bay it will be an uphill battle against biased referring. Hell it'll be uphill against the playoff field not just Green Bay

GB 37 Saints 30

------------------------

Penalty Yards:

GB 2-10

Saints 8-83

-----------------------
First Downs By Penalty:

GB 4

Saints 2

Slow the Saints down with more penalties and keep more Aaron Rodgers drives alive to score.

Vlatket knows what's up.

But there are 31 NFL teams and all of their entire fanbases and Owners and the whole NFL Front Office who are laughing and enjoying the heck out of the way that the Saints are never going to another SB so long as CSP is in NOLA. That's one less team they have to worry about.

Reality Bites.

That's how it's done. Thanks for the proof.

And, just like somebody else said, what is NOT captured in the actual irrefutable statistics are the NO-CALLs that accumulate to the detriment of the New Orleans Saints. There are many of those besides the most Famous No-Call of All-Time.

It's just delusional to expect the NFL to allow the Saints back to the SB. Just win the fricking Division. That WON'T be easy.

I've said this before: I try to be reasonable and stay grounded in reality. But its hard to watch it happen over and over again and not believe something is going on. I can't blame anyone who thinks there is a vendetta against the Saints at the league iffice. I also think we are getting screwed by individual refs (not all of them) because Payton led the charge to institute the PI instant replay rule. That's why my biggest concern about post-season is not getting jobbed by officials.

And the nail in the coffin in the Raiders game was a ridiculous PI call that cost us about 40 yards.

The GB game was blatant and atrocious.

Also throwing out Cam for some shoving was unreal

I’m sure we’ve gotten some favorable calls over the years, especially the 09 Vikes game but we’ve been getting shafted so bad lately.

During the live edit of the 09 season Vikes playoff game, all of the Drew Brees late hits were not shown.

You could here the announcers commenting on a late hit of Brees but no replay.

Some limited local TV had some Brees' late hits but that got scrubbed.

Depicting Favre as the late hit victim was clearly the narrative.
