What about Brees throwing the ball in the dirt to Michael Thomas against the Rams allowing them to get the ball back? What about Brees completely sucking arse against the Vikings as a 14-point favorite the next year? What about Brees throwing 3 interceptions to the Bucs the following year?
Brees had some great playoff performances 2011 against the 49ers, Seahawks 2010, but if you look at the games after, he really underperformed in losses.
And the Vikings game everyone talks about blaming Marcus Williams, when his interception is what got them back into the game, Brees put up 0 points in the first half.
