correct. tank a few years and see if we can get back to back #1 picks in the draft. dump others to get extra draft picks in rounds 1 through 3. draft a Qb, draft a OT, draft a DE. then build around them.

Yup and qbs aren’t the only guys who bust. People want to rebuild our oline and dline without a salary cap. Ok look at our oline and dline draft picks- Ruiz, Penning, Foskey, Turner, and Davenport. Plenty of busts there too. Its just the nature of the nfl draft.
