From Walter Football:
Corbin Kaufusi, 3-4DE, Brigham Young
Height: 6-9. Weight: 285.
Projected 40 Time: 4.84.
Projected Round (2019): 6-FA.
4/20/19: Kaufusi recorded 56 tackles with 9.5 for a loss, 8.5 sacks and two passes batted in 2018. He had an impressive game against Wisconsin, having his way with Badgers right tackle David Edwards. It was embarrassing for Edwards the way Kaufusi routinely beat him and pushed him around. He did not participate in the combine.
Kaufusi was a good college player, but in speaking to some team sources, they were down on him. Here is how one area scout described him, "In my opinion, he doesn't have a position. Plays hard and has some length, but not truly strong enough to play defensive end, not a true pass-rusher, and not good enough athlete to play outside linebacker. Others might see him differently.

Should have gotten some more safeties

The CB from SMU might be the steal.
A lot of other players who could play in the NFL but the SMU CB Jordan Wyatt has legit talent.
If everything worked out right would have been drafted in the second or third round.

I heard it and laughed at the time. Garic is absolutely worthless.

Darnell Holland RB Keenesaw

Devine Ozigbo RB Nebraska
quote:interesting pickup. supposedly had a monster 2017 but then a torn ACL really derailed him last season. Curious to see if he can round back into form.
Jordan Wyatt CB SMU
quote:Productive with a solid frame questions arise however from his athletic ability at this level. At his pro day he was clocked running high 4.5s-slow 4.6s vs his combine 4.77s
Lil'Jordan Humphrey WR Texas

I like the DT from West Virginia. He was a transfer from USC I believe. Gave a few teams hell in the trenches this year.

Don’t see them listed but looks like we may have added:
Derrick Kelly, OL, FSU
Jake Powell, TE, Monmouth

From Saintswire:
OL Derrick Kelly, Florida State. First reported by John Hendrix of SB Nation and confirmed by Rod Walker of the Advocate. Kelly has started all over Florida State’s offensive line over the years as injuries and poor play have forced the unit to shuffle. His most prominent appearances were at left tackle and left guard.
TE Jake Powell, Monmouth. Per the official Monmouth Twitter account. Powell is a tall (6-foot-6, 230 pounds) tight end who wasn’t often deployed as a receiver, catching just 54 passes in three years. But he turned those targets into 641 receiving yards and six touchdown catches.

Add Ed Paris. Just announced I believe

I don't know if its been posted here, but according to an article from CBS, it seems as if the Saints are looking at RB UDFA signee Darnell Holland as a slot receiver.
I LOVE the signing and think he could make the team as a slot or 3rd running back. Although, I do think Devine Ozigbo has a much better shot at that 3rd RB spot.

He's always had talent, but it just never clicked at LSU. Hopefully he develops in the NFL.

Not sure what to make of this. I looked at spotrac & they have us officially signing 6 of our udfa's so far.
CB Jordan Wyatt
RB Devine Ozigbo
WR Lil’jordan Humphrey
DE Carl Granderson
DT Kenny Bigelow
I've never heard of the 6th guy...OG Mike Herndon from Pittsburgh. LINK

Just saw this on Ed Paris. He isn't actually a udfa. He's been invited for a try-out.
per the Advocate
Former LSU safety Ed Paris will get a shot in the NFL.
The five-year Tiger will try out with the New Orleans Saints during their mini-camp on the weekend of May 11, his agent Brian Levy told The Advocate Sunday afternoon.
Mini-camps tend to last three days, and players try out to earn a contract with the team as an undrafted free agent.
Former LSU placekicker Cole Tracy will also try out with the Saints, pending another tryout with the Green Bay Packers next weekend.
Paris was granted a rare fifth year of eligibility after suffering a knee injury in the 2017 season.
A four-star prospect coming out of Texas, Paris was largely a reserve defensive back in his five season. He played in 10-plus games in the four full seasons he was eligible.
He capped his collegiate career with 29 tackles, six passes defended and an interception.

Here's a UDFA tracker from NFL Trade Rumors
udfa tracker from nfl trade rumors
This site that L.A. posted has OG Mike Herndon listed. This & the fact that Spotrac already has his contract listed, basically means that he's 1 of our udfa's imo.
I think these are the guys that we can assume have signed an udfa contract with us
01 - LS Nick Moore
02 - LB Chase Hansen
03 - OT/OG Ethan Greenridge
04 - WR/KR Deonte Harris
05 - CB Jordan Wyatt Contract
06 - RB Devine Ozigbo Contract
07 - DE Carl Granderson Contract

Would be a nice pickup. Watched his highlights not bad and well rounded. Limited athletic ability seems to be the main knock on him.
