2000 NFC Wild Card Voodoo Ritual

Anyone else remember the voodoo ritual that was done before the 2000 Rams playoff game? With all the weird shite that has happened to us as a franchise, you have to wonder if Hakim dropping the ball wasn’t just a coincidence...

When you go back and watch the highlights, you really have to wonder how that game got that close. We were up 31-7 with 12 minutes remaining and Sammy knight gets an interception with 6 minutes left and a 31-13 lead.
So there definitely was some voodoo at play in that game.

Not really. The Rams offense was really good and our buttholes puckered up in the 4th.

I agree the Rams offense was very good but I think it’s more the Saints offense went conservative and couldn’t keep the ball. They kept giving it back to the Rams

I was in my old seats in 639 for that game & I remember saying when I saw the woman on the field doing the voodoo ritual with the python that this is something that could only happen in New Orleans. I seriously wonder if Saints officials even let the NFL know this was going to happen. Dictator Goodell would never let this happen in today's NFL. It was great.

Also, I believe they brought that lady back for the MNF game vs. STL that next year too. I was there. 10 year old me was a little shaken
