My opinion is that you've lost sight of rationality and have chosen to pretend that something that is only sad from a football perspective (Wentz will be fine) should not be viewed in a football context (Eagles will not be fine). This isn't a Ryan Shazier incident. The only impact on Wentz is that he won't be able to play for the remainder of this season. That's why Eagles fans are upset. It has nothing to do with the actual injury and the time and effort to recover.

I'm mildly happy that Wentz will be ok (I like the guy. But, I don't really have strong feelings about him personally). I'm ecstatic that the Eagles are hurt by this event. I hope the Saints can take advantage of this opportunity.
