think Looney is going to start

Looney is solid though not spectacular. We need him to what he did in GS (rebound, hustle, rim protect) for 20 minutes a game.

Defense would be a problem but spacing wouldn't be that bad. Poole and Trey are both bombers. Queen is a capable ball handler and has a mid range game. If most of the actions involve queen and zion it kind of negates the fact they can't shoot and missi goes in the dunker spot. Ppl are underestimating how big difference it's going to make having two guys who can and will shoot it from anywhere with Trey and Poole

We already had that with Trey and CJ.

Poole at PG shooting 3's > CJ. Not to mention CJ was 38% on 8 attempts and Poole 40% on 9 last year. So Poole can realistically end up better for us than CJ. And Trey should get better every year so I always hate the comparisison of guys in the past.

If Trey was 30 and not getting better than you can act like its a 1 for 1 comparison.

We also didn't have a Fears to drive and kick. We really didn't see enough Murray for people to think about his impact in lineups. We didn't have a Queen which means we actually have a bench player who can create their own shot. We also didn't have Bey. We also didn't have Peavy who could have a Naji/ Hart like impact. Hawk could also randomly remember how to shoot again too.

We added a lot of pieces to this roster even if it doesn't feel like much right now.

For comparison here is our end of the roster from last year vs this year:

#15 E Payton / Empty
#14 B Boston / Hawk
#13 JRE / Jose
#12 Reeves / Peavy
#11 Hawk / Karlo
#10 Karlo / Queen
#9 Jose / Fears
#8 Olynyk / Looney
#7 Brown / Bey
