This is a more interesting hypothetical to me.

Nobody on this board would actually support this trade, right?

Wade is borderline garbage for 5-10 minute chunks at a time - especially in the regular season. He's approaching James Posey levels of "pick his time to play hard".

Anybody GM that wouldn't make that trade would be crazy. Get L.A, trade #1 to a franchise looking to get value for a guy on the last leg of a contract maybe Dwill or Dwight in attemps to persuade the other to come. Then you are set for years.

I'm hard pressed to recall a single bucket that LA made that didn't come on an alley-oop or offensive rebound put-back.

Then you don't watch the Blazers. 52% of ALL of LA's field goal attempts came from midrange shots. 206 of 494 for 42%. You missed a lot of LA's shots it appears.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take him, but not by giving up our version of D-Wade to get him.

Oh jeez. Is this the expectation for EG10 ? To be Dwyane Wade ?

okay. Care to elaborate ?

Youd rather a guard who has missed 100 games the past 3 years over a 6'11 PF/C who has averaged 22 and 8 the past two years because he's "too soft."

shite, I wish I fit your definition of soft so I could average 22 and 8 in the NBA.
