Exum was a great prospect. The biggest issue is that Utah drafted a guy who played SG his entire life to play him at PG. He had PG skills as a prospect but he wasn’t a point guard since he can’t pressure the rim. His shooting never translated, his dribble penetration was not as good as it was hyped up to be, and he didn’t handle contact well. Then the injuries happened. Utah finally figured out his best role was 3 and D but he kept getting injuried so Utah gave up on him.

This is dumb . The last two guards coming out of the Australian league are josh Giddey and lamello ball who literally broke nba records in their rookie years. Dante exums biggest issue was that he was always lost and confused on the court and lacked lots of confidence . Especially with his injuries .
