What y'all think about the Demps/Loomis duo ?

Is Benson gonna keep them both for the long haul or is he gonna use Demps to groom loomis into a basketball gm then get rid of Demps?

Well benson is basically paying two people to do the same job. Problem is Loomis has no experience in basketball. It's not that far fetched an idea to think that in 2-3 years, once loomis gets the hang of it, that benson tells Demps he's got to go. Otherwise why would Benson have put Loomis in this position anyway? I mean Demps can surely handle the responsibility by himself

You are clearly the retarded one. Benson let go of Weber, who was doing a fine job, to put it in his own guy. What makes you think he won't eventually do the same at gm?

i think benson will get rid of jj once he has groomed drew brees into a starting quality point guard. this is the reason he has not signed with saints yet

Loomis' job with the hornets is more about the saints than the hornets

I think Benson is splitting the roles of GM just like he did with the Saints. Loomis is the numbers guy. He understands the cap and how the rules work. Sean Payton is the football guy. He evaluates players, tells Loomis who he wants, and Loomis works out the most favorable deal.
I believe Benson is applying Loomis' strength with numbers and contracts to the Hornets, while allow Demps to make basketball decisions. Loomis has shown he can sit back and let someone else make personnel decisions. I don't see any reason he would change in his new job.

You are the idiot cause loomis is a numbers guy that every would love to have, and demps is a type of Gm that is well respected at getting talent. So basically they are not doing the same job and Loomis is the team president not GM
