All I am doing is throwing ideas on local culture out there to brand the team in a way that locals will identify with. Rebirth ties in with the reformation of the city as well as the rebirth of the new team. Not saying this was the greatest idea, but something that sounded catchy

Ok. So would you want to bring your 5-7 year old to meet the new mascot that is shrouded in black cloth, has a skull for a face and carries a giant scythe? Not going to be making many school appearances with that one

You do know what a real hornet looks like right? They ain't big, cuddly and blue.
They can kid friendly a reaper up. Besides. Just cuz our names reaper doesn't mean our mascot has to be a reaper.
If the Suns can get away with a friggin' GORILLA, we can have a badass pelican or something.
