What is Griff's vision, and can it give us some idea what he'll do tonight?

I'm pretty sure Griffin has a vision for where he sees the Pelican's going in the next few years. Successful guys like that almost always do.

So, do we have an idea what his vision is and how does it impact what we do tonight and in the near future?

I'm guessing it includes things like the speed he wants the rebuild to proceed at, the pace of play in the games, what type of nucleus he wants, what type of supporting players he thinks best support that nucleus, etc.

It seems to me he is doing a version of what Ainge did in Boston. Acquire a shite ton of assets and flexibility.

Hopefully, unlike Ainge, he doesn't hold on to the assets and let them die on the vine and not make it "happen"

Ideally, Griff probaly dreams of a combo of Showtime, Lob City, Bad Boys and The Splash Brothers.

He's already got Lob City 2.0, with hints of Showtime fast breaks & Bad Boys defensive potential. I don't think he'll ever find a Steph & Klay Splash Brothers combo.

Ironically, the Lakers had a vision for a Big Three/Boston Three Party but can only drop a Deuce.

I love it!

Edit: Actually, Dash & Bash would fit the current trajectory of the vision.

I think tonight is going to tell us a lot.

If we trade for someone like Covington, as rumored, I will immediately be concerned that Griffin is simply executing a more flashy and less risky version of the Demps method, with all the same concerns.

Well, based on what we've seen so far, looks like his vision is one of youth.

Also, looks like he decided to fill what were seen as the needs of the team - shooting to space the floor and a big man.
