Dinwiddle Waived
A 12-year vet, Dinwiddie averaged 14.3 points and 6.2 assists in 30 games as a starter for the Dallas Mavericks last season. He averaged 11 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 27 minutes overall in 79 appearances for the Mavericks in 2024-25.
Might be a good pickup for the Pels.

I feel like Fears need to play. Dinwiddie would make it hard to play Fears consistently and make things even more complicated when Murray returns.

Really hoping a Center that can at least be even remotely serviceable in a pinch gets caught in a numbers game somewhere. Even a PF. We need bodies.

Agree, If Bassey gets released from the Hawks on cutdowns, he is someone I have liked for depth. He is a high energy guy who is a very good rebounder.

Dinwiddie could help in the short term, but it's always a trade off. Give Willie a vet and he's going to play him over the rookie + we've already got Murray coming back at some point. Not sure Spencer is worth it to the Pels. Club is working on two timelines, but I think you need to give priority to developing Fears.
