they can bring him back and try again to trade him as an expiring or use his contract in a sign and trade...mid level contracts like that are hard to get
it would be the receiving team that would buy Miller out

This is what I was thinking. He has already been paid 7M to sit. What's the harm in paying him out and signing another 3/4 or 4/5 player?
