We had the 15th pick in the second round. If it went for a 1.5 million id be suprised.

Adrian Wojnarowski: The Knicks paid $1 million to the Hornets for the 45th pick, source says. The NBA owns the Hornets now.

We need an owner in the worst way.

The cash goes right into the NBA owners pockets. They aren't going to let us do a damn thing until CBA / ownership gets resolved.
It's common sense. Just get used to it.

I think it's comical that HR goes down every time we pick in the draft

Last time we did that, we ended up with the great James Posey!!!

Yeah, but then we had Byron Scott.

Oh wait, Monty Williams = Byron Scott.

Such bullshite. What's the point in having the team even operate if it can't do a damn thing to improve but get a friggin' stipend to hope sign our own damn players back? $1 million? That's nothing.

Welcome to reality my friend. Join us. It is what it is.

The owners don't give two shits about improving our team. Anything short of a DRASTIC turnaround doesn't increase our value. Therefore, an improvement hurts their own team.

We are staying fairly status qui until thus is over. Just live with it.

Except that we won't see a cent of it.

1 mill may sound like a lot to a lay person, but in NBA contracts thats below the MLE

It's actually only like 150k above the veterans minimum salary. I think I'm right on that.
