People are really over thinking this.

THE OTHER 29 OWNERS ARE NOT COMING OUT OF POCKET TO HELP THE HORNETS GET BETTER. Regardless of how little money it is. Was saw how pissed Cuban got over Landry.

No Iggy, no Ellis, no legit FAs, the Hornets are not taking on salary that the other owners are gonna have to pay.

We're fricked until we get an owner, period.

The Future, you're right. Our best bet at this point might be to blow it up and acquire as much young talent/ picks as possible and hope to get lucky OKC style. It's a grim thought.

We don't need fricking Kobe Bryant here, we just need a scoring spark. Now we have the exact same product as last year.

Did you consider that it's likely the scoring spark that's was left in this draft probably isn't better than the product from last year? MT5 wasn't out there.

frick the NBA. We will have to start cheating or doing some ohio state illegal shite. I'm tired of being fricked over because we are a small market team.

How many teams take a euro player and keep him where they are from for a few seasons? Then 3 or 4 years later they come over and contribute, if not right away during their second season. I'd say half the NBA has guys like this. The best thing? It costs you NOTHING until you bring the guy over.

This is very common but anybody who wanted to go this route shouldn't be complaining about the team not getting anything to change up from last year.

Eman, I think you're so mad because you are an optimist. Translation: your hopes are out of wack with reality.

Come, join us down in the lurking shadows of pessimism/ realism. We have cookies.

Correction.

And I can't do that. I'm not capable of that. I'll either be hopeful or pissed off cuz there nothing to be hopeful about but there should be and someone being a dickhole is the cause of it.

I never curse like that, man.

I hate to think of how I'd act if CP3 leaves us flat with nothing to show for it. Or, even worse, if the whole team up and leaves.

I won't like that person I'd become. Not at all.

One thing nobody has brought up, the budget we're operating on. We're NOWHERE near this budget right now, which goes well over the cap. All the owners agreed to this before the NBA bought us from Shinn.

So no, we didn't sell the pick because the NBA wouldn't allow us to spend.

Did you watch the playoffs?

Trevor ariza was basically our leading scorer throughout the playoffs except when CP decided to show up. We need a shooter. Who on our team is an above average shooter? I dont care if we got a guy with one fricking leg to stand out on the 3pt line and shoot, anything would be better than watching 20 seconds of standing around then a Trevor ariza fade away jumper.

How do you know what our budget is?

Even if you knew maybe it's changed?

I think a little common sense applied to the situation leads to obvious answers.

So if we had just drafted Tim Pickett, Marcus Vinicius, or Adam Haluska this night would have been a success?

Are they shooters? Nope.

I would have liked anyone better than nothing though. I just think what we saved is a drop in the bucket on NBA salaries. This teams needs to take a chance.

Maybe...MAYBE...Demps is being level that there was no one he wanted left to take, so he sold the pick rather than doing what amounts to wasting it...

But it still tastes bad in my mouth. And I'd sooner throw this garbage away than try to choke it down.

I understand you'd rather something than nothing but there's a 99.9% chance that the something is also in fact nothing.

We need a shooting guard that has some ability to score.

I understand Monty is a defense first guy, but he needs to balance the team.
