Gentry is fricking garbage. Like many of you here, I said that the day he was hired. We have a generational talent in Nola and we hired Alvin fricking Gentry to coach him.
Let’s keep this rolling until this loser is canned.

I honestly feel like we haven't parted ways with Gentry yet because the higher-ups feel like they think his and AD's relationship could keep AD here.

There are better coaches than Alvin, but I’d be surprised if there are many who would do much better with AD, Jrue, some fool’s gold, and a bunch of euro all stars.

If Dell doesn’t get fired after this season then I am done being a fan of this team. I can’t stand that fricking assclown anymore. For every good move he has made there has been a bad move that affects the team even more.

This team needs an infusion of new ideas or we’re assuredly going to miss the postseason and all but assure Davis will want out.
ETA: Niko not starting is the final straw for me. I don’t know how the frick in this day and age you have advanced stats that show the effectiveness of Jrue/AD/Niko and not take advantage of that.

Yeah, I don't know, Gentry has been a failure everywhere he's been, if there are few that could do better than him then there's a systemic issue with coach hiring practices in the NBA.

He took the Nash Suns further than Dantoni did And defeated Popovich in the playoffs.
Coached in the clippers at that time when he was there was a deathblow for so many coaches in the NBA. The grant hill Pistons that he coached was very similar to these pelicans, he had star talent little Depp and poor upper management at the time who could build a winner around a Hall of Fame talent. I’m not saying he’s the best coach to ever Sit on the bench but gentry is an above average coach in the NBA better than Monty Williams Byron Scott Tim Floyd or Paul Silas

4 winning seasons in 15 as a head coach and one of those as an 18-13 record as an interim.
