I don't understand why you all get so mad about other ppl opinions everyone has right to say what they want if you don't agree with it cool that's life keep it moving you come on other ppl threads making comments if you don't like ignore it and keep your positive threads going at the end of day if you fan of the pelicans we all want to see them do good

Jrue is good but not great.
For career, avg 14 pts, 3.6 boards and 6 assists.
So far avg 13 pts, 5 boards, 5 assists.

His current numbers are within standard deviation of his past except his rebounding is better.

They got the guy they thought they got. Only you thought he would avg 20.
Ok, you dont million salary and he does. You jealous. Ok. You want more for pels money. Ok.

Resume your whining. Their, there.

Omg everybody work for espn now I never said I want him to average 20pts I said he need to average at least 20 or somewhere round that number if they want to be a real contender beside Ad and cousins his the only person capable of putting on them number his the third option that's y they give him the money its there version of big 3 if Ad And cousins average 30pts a game a piece and no one else is scoring how they going to win this team is not loaded with a bunch of scorers that's y his the next man up

he should average 20 in this offense and you can believe that demps and gentry envisioned that or close to that in his new role on this new deal. if the pels signed him to that contract expecting 15/5/5 then they are more incompetent than I thought possible

my own personal opinion is that new jrue is the same as old jrue so I'm not surprised at all he's not doing it but I'm certain the team is at least initially disappointed

if 15/5/5 is what they were expecting they'd have been better off re signing tyreke and getting his 20/5/5

one more thing
recall the steady parade of no name PGs that have been tossed out on the floor with davis and have produced double digit assists often enough to be noticeable

and another thing
davis and cousins are steady getting teams into the early bonus
when that happens it should be green light holiday to drive and get fouled
he should be living on the FT line

disagree. The dude literally won games for us last season. From what I'm told, AD and Boogie lobbied hard to keep Jrue.
