They need to get bigger in the backcourt. Jose, Hawkins, and CJ is just too small against a large team like this.

CJ also just sucks. I want to root for him, I really do, but he just never shows up when it matters. He’s supposed to be our 2nd or 3rd best player? We have to get lucky in the lottery to get Z some help.

Next October will tell us everything about his maturity. Everything looks nice now but it's always the offseason work ethic that's been the issue with him.

Honest question. Is this stretch enough to restore Z’s trade value to something we’d actually want and could help us games played wise and still keep a high level of ceiling if the rest of the roster is built out?
For example, like a Jaren Jackson Jr level package
Sengun/Whitmore or Jalen Green/Tari Eason type package
Jalen Williams or Chet and picks package
Or a Jalen Johnson package
Or package Z w our pick to move up in the draft to get Cooper Flagg

I want us to win a championship. I just think that’s going to require some insane injury luck from Z and perfect role players around him (so leaning towards it not being possible w even this version of Z)

This team will never have a shot to win a championship without the willingness to go into the apron or have a million picks like the Thunder have to reload cheap talent.
