Guaranteed Rookie Contracts are never a bad situation.

Kidding?

Most teams would rather pick at 31 than 30 because they aren't guaranteed.

Just in terms of the spot... Not the obvious implications of 30.

I kind of take issue with people repeatedly calling Miami small.

Their starting lineup (700mp) is big, but the next 10 (1200 mp) most used lineups are small (LeBron/Battier as the 4, Bosh/Bird/Anthony/Haslem at the 5).

Bosh is listed at 228, Bird 230, Haslem is 230. Anthony is the beef at 6'9" 245.

Anthony Davis is at 220.

Keep Lopez or a player of that nature for teams we run up against w/ a bruising C. (LA,Mem,etc.)

But I think the hybrid or "small ball" model would suit us best. AD is a freak at rebounding & with that length to be able to run the court, I think we'll benefit in the long run trying to push the ball on the break. I would much rather resign Aminu & bring in another PG or shooting wing (Webster, Budinger, Morrow) than just give that money to Pek.
