agree 100%
they wont call a foul on the lakers but if a strain of hair from one of the hornets touches a laker its a foul.
oh and the layers are OVERRATED!

yea in the first half it did look a little rigged. We were getting beat to death and not a foul was called but if u cough around kobe its pretty much a technical. Im not saying that we shouldve won last night bc we played like $hit but come on NBA at least give us a chance

that is my thing too
you must play well to win i get that but with the calls the lakers are getting it has to have an affect on the hornet players (like not playing as aggressive, not trying to take that charge knowing damn good and well your not getting the call) you know shite like that..
it completely changes the game and i have been seeing it for LA for some time now and it makes me want to puke when talking about it

I'm not one to bitch about officiating...but I can't tell you how many times I saw Bynum, Gasol, and Artest go over our backs, blatantly, and have no whistle. Bad enough their front court is much much bigger, but now we are getting into position for rebounds sometimes, and we can't get a call.

People just have faith n the nba for some unknown reason, n see us as making excuses because the hornets lost.

I know that the hornets arent gonna win the nba title. They match up terribly against the lakers besides chris paul. But if u cant see what is going on with the officiating you are blind. The lakers would have won last night with no help from the refs, im more concerned with exposing the sham that is nba officiating and how they can systematically swing a game n one teams
Favor by making minor calls n the right situations

We didn't play good in the second half and you can say other shite but the refs and the NBA should get in a building and let it set on fire and burn those mother frickers. It's absolute bullshite what the refs did in this game and the fricking lakers and NBA had this planned out from the beginning of the game. There were so many terrible calls in this game I couldn't watch anymore

I can find about 12 bad calls if I watch the game again. The refs were pathetic.

only a Hornetard would blame this loss on the refs.

While admittedly I haven't been there a lot of the regular season, last night was ridiculous.
I remember seeing one "foul" the refs called that basically seemed like "Oh wait, the Hornets have the ball, FOUL! Here's the ball back Lakers."

Edit: I'm not going to sit here and blame the refs for the loss, because there was plenty more we could have done to make the game closer. But it is pretty hard to make it a game when you don't get ANY calls going your way.

I guess there's only one thing the Hornets can do. Shoot 95%.

Don't let the refs decide it for you. Much harder said than done.

yup
it's also comical that the laker players STILL have the disbelief look on their faces when a foul is called on them.

If Tim Donaghy was fixing games, when is Lebron James going to get his ring ? All the poster boys of the NBA have rings ? No ? I am sure Lebron is going to win at least 2 or 3 championships bc the NBA wants to market that and sell more jerseys and merchandise. Sometimes, I think the NBA is like the WWE wrestling. Not sure...but I know the wealth will get spread around eventually.

My theory, the NBA wants the Lakers to win for the money but it wouldn't hurt if the team they just bought caused a rucus by making it go 7 games.
