This is far from rock bottom. Just wait till Zion misses his yearly 50 games, we hand Atlanta a top 3 pick, and we double down on Zion again next year.
If anything good comes of this season, I think it will be the end of Zion is a superstar theory of team building.
This season is going to show healthy Zion is good, maybe great, but not a franchise changing elite player. That idea of a player is gone and not coming back.
Zion’s ceiling is top 20 player in the league. His game is limited by having no jump shot and the league passed him by.

I’ve been off the Zion train. His athleticism isn’t the same as it used to be and his finishing has declined year over year. I don’t think he’s a top 30 player in the league. Maybe not even top 40.
Teams don’t fear Zion like they used to and you can see it. Teams used to build a wall to stop him, leaving other players wide open. Now they just guard him normally and he’ll put up decent stats but he’s not breaking defenses anymore.

Zion can take over games if he wanted to. I think people forgot what he did against the Lakers in the play in. His defense and passing gotten better. You need a spacing center to maximize his potential. Hes one of the most efficient player in NBA history.

Lol, what!!???
Literally 3 defenders on him to start the game last night, and not even under the rim, meeting him at the FT line.
The problem is not a single one of Zion’s teammates invoke fear in opposing teams

This right here. No one else does anything, so they throw 3 and 4 at Zion. Trey is useless, Herb is useless, Poole is Poole.....who do they have?
