The oddity is Garland wasn't a superstar prospect. He wasn't top 10 on most boards I believe. There's a part of me that wonders if his small sample size isn't actually propping up his draft stock.

If we take him or don't take him, I've been pretty impressed with the front office in the way they've gone about their shite. So I'm good with whatever they do.

He was ranked as highest guard coming into season I believe....

Then he got hurt and Ja exploded... so he was definitely a major blip on the radar

Some people have no idea what BS they’re spewing out. Garland was always a top 5 prospect even after the injury. He was a top 5 prospect going into college. He didn’t suddenly come out of nowhere. People didn’t talk about him much due to his injury early on but have always acknowledged him as an elite prospect. The only difference now is the media is slowly aligning their boards with real nba draft boards.
