Honestly, we really didn't play that bad of a game---we hung with them each quarter and only lost the quarters by 3-5 pts.

Right. The problem the Pels had is what they always ran into before the CJ trade. Teams took away the lone elite offensive player and the Pels didn't have an answer. Offense and Defense are very interconnected and not being able to score not only leads to not scoring, but it often leads to bad defense. Especially when you're not scoring because you turn the ball over.

That could be the case for most NBA teams though….

Luckily we’ll have 3 ELITE scorers and a couple of good ones spare ‘when’ we get healthy

One problem that is unique to the Pels though is the lack of PGs. We saw a lot of 2 short guard line ups against Phoenix to try and mitigate this, but Phoenix was good enough defensively that they were able shut the easy stuff down. I watched Trey a good bit and he was rarely open in the corners when someone would try to penetrate. Jose/Graham aren't good enough scorers when driving to do much if the defense stays at home.
