I'm not even gonna trip on the developing argument anymore. I don't agree that he does, but whatever.
So, he sucks at everything, right?

ESPN Stats & Info ?@ESPNStatsInfo
Anthony Davis: 1st player with 15 points, 3 blocks in each of team' first 5 games since Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson in 1992-1993

Olojuwon's streak ended at 6 that year and that was the longest opening streak of his career.
Robinson's streak ended at 7 that year and that was the longest streak of his career as well.
Pretty good chance that Davis could beat both these streaks which would most likely be the longest opening streak since the block became a stat.

It is completely fair to criticuze Monty's rotations, scheme, record and more, even if it is correctly pinned on his staff since he's in charge.
They can develop players, though.
Might they screw up Davis? Yes. Might I just pour water on my cereal instead of milk? Sure.
There is no reason to believe either will happen.
Monty and company have developed players well. This is one of the many important aspects of coaching, and those guys are food at it.
