Yea, I prefer the long podcasts where people go deep on things, but gd if I don't listen to alot of Jake because there's nothing else to listen to on a daily basis. I'm amazed that podcast is as high quality as it is for how many episodes must be churned out. He's got a great podcast vibe about him. His episodes with guests are awesome.
Bird calls, bourbon street shots, pro pels talk, I get more excited when those drop, but it's once or twice a month month during the season.
The old Mac podcast were great because Mac always took a side or made a prediction in everything to his credit so it wasn't generic.
I also like hard in the paint/dome patrol with david Grubb but god damn, you have to skip the first 20 minutes of every episode, he starts out every episode with manufacturing negativity and pessimism that can be a little over the top sometimes, but once he gets going into actual sports, he's pretty spot on about everything.
