“Unfortunately we have stubborn posters that struggle to find that middle ground. I’m stubborn in the same way of repeating myself 10x instead of shutting the frick up and realizing some people don’t want to find middle ground.”

- This right here. Sometimes there is no middle ground bro. I don’t agree with how you see preseason and thats OK. There is no need to find a middle ground sometimes we just disagree.

In fairness to you, at least you said "most" of your arguments...

Scoot will probably be a good player, but he’s an athletic 6’2” guard who’s doesn’t shoot 3s all that well.

I dont get what’s generational about him.

He isn't generational. His ceiling will always be tied to his ability to develop a deep shot.

“Just sick of preseason threads and the extreme doom or gloom. “

- I hope you know this is a preseason thread based on if pelicans dodged a bullet with Scoot. This whole argument with you started when you tried to bring a past argument based on how I view preseason into this thread that had nothing to honestly do with how the pelicans did in preseason.

Yeah it’s apparent that’s something he needs to develop. It’s something Ja has gotten better at but he has his crazy off court issues.

He was deemed from a prospect standpoint to be close to Ja. From preseason I havent seen the explosiveness to the rim like Ja which makes him deadly.

these aren’t really generational guard kind of stats.

He has yet to play a game in the NBA. Maybe pump the brakes on his “stats”.
