PG- Lonzo (depending on trades)
SG- Evil Jrue
SF- Brandon Ingram (I really think he’s going to be the one to shine now. Plenty of freedom and new scenery and can build with Zion)
PF- Zion
C- Jah/FA

6th man- Julius Randle?
Bench- Josh Hart, Chris Wood, Kenrich Williams, Frank Jackson, Draft/FA.

future is bright baws. I really do think this is going to be a championship contender within 2/3 years

If Randle stays he's in your starting 5

If Randle comes back, a bench of Garland, Hart, Moore, Wood and Randle would be legit

According to NBA 2k simulations, Pelicans win the West in Zion's 3rd year, but lose in the Finals. Zion wins MVP & Gentry wins COY.

In the 4th year, repeat winning the West & player/coach awards, but this time, the Pels win the Finals!!!

The Pels need to find a quick, floor stretching center that can shoot the 3 as well as defend and be fast enough to get back in transition. Jah is more of the prototype big man center that doesn’t offer any value from deep but he will be gabdky agai st bigger centers like Embiid and Drummond. I’d like the Pels to really try to get Mirotic back. He seemed to be the perfect small ball 5 for Gentry and he was very underrated in his defense and rebounding skills.

Diallo serves his purpose as an energetic big man off the bench that can rebound and score in bursts but he is what he is at this point. He will never be a starter as his game is a little too raw but he can still serve a valuable purpose on a young team like this. He’s quick enough to defend 3-5 and long enough to hold up against 7 footers.
