Yea we need to dump some one and bring up PJ no need to trade him it's not like we are going to get a starting SF or C for him

It's not like we are trying to make a playoff push be smart here Dell don't overthink it just bring PJ up

PJ has more value in the D League right now than he does coming up to the NBA. It's best to trade him now. Any value better than a mid second round pick is a win.

The percentage of guys that become contributors in the second round is really slim I just don't know why we would want to take a gamble and trade PJ, a second round pick that looks pretty good in the D-league, for a second rounder or even a late first rounder that could be better

PJ looks at the moment like he will be better than Juju, Cedric Simmons, Craig Brackins, Hilton Armstrong

My point is you never know with draft picks especially late first to second rounder...we got a good one in PJ for where we got him I want to see what he can do for us

Huh? I doubt that the teams asking us about him at the trade deadline are planning on dealing for him and leaving him there. Teams could just as well wait until next offseason to do that.

Well he was drafted with the 12th pick of the second round and the draft order is still up in the air. I'd say getting a guy in the second round that actually draws up interest in the trade market, then dealing him for essentially the same pick you used on him would be a loss. It's just the DLeague, but he's been insane. I'd much rather pass on the pick in the late 30's/early 40's and see what he can do next season.

The fact that everyone wants him has me extremely nervous.

We don't know this.

We know he has great D-League scoring numbers. We know he has been mentioned in multiple trade reports and rumors, but those could be coming from his agent to generate interest, or the Pelicans to generate interest. They are not necessarily coming from prospective buyers.

Several NBA wriers have said that in the final days before the deadline, most of the talk comes from the sellers trying to sell, not the buyers.

Of course he has more value to us in the D-League than if we brought him up. The only way that isn't true is if we brought him up and he was fantastic in the league. It doesn't matter now though, tis deadline day.
