Willie also played the starters like 35+mins each, which was a risk on the second of a back2back, but our bench gave way too little tonight when they were in.

and now we go to Denver for the 4th game in 6 days as part of a west coast road trip

while Denver will be playing their 3rd game in 6 days (1st since Monday)... all while sleeping in the comfort of their own beds

Couple things here. I see a mix of disappointment, nuance, and we are arse posts

For sure, good assessment. Warriors are a lot like the old Chicago Bulls they can take it up a level defensively when needed which drives their offense. Their defensive intensity in the second had the Pels gassed.

Draymond's act is beyond ridiculous, Didn't have a big problem with the push on BI but the play on Herb was dirty. He kicked Herb three times, all intentional from my perspective. The refs were an absolute joke for replaying and not assessing a technical and kicking him out of the game.

In regards to the offense it is what it is with the Pels personnel groupings and they will always have problems (even with Zion back) against elite trapping teams or teams with mobile bigs. Pels are underwhelming at the point and post positions.

Crazy as it sounds, it would have been nice to have Kira and Jax ready to play. Kira (speed) can break the traps and pressure the defense when they're using a gimmick box and 1 and Jaxson is a vertical threat who can finish over the top. With the box on BI he just needs to make a slight move to draw the double and then deliver it to a player who can pressure the defense for an easy finish, kick to TM3, or lob to someone who can finish (Jaxson). CJ and Naji couldn't do it and Dyson is just too tentative at this point.

It's just maddening to me having these deficiencies all year and having players who are physically capable, but not ready to go in particular with all the Pels injuries this year. Warriors had critical contributions from Looney, Divencenzo, and Kuminga who are not world-beaters but were very effective on the margins.

We’re keeping Willie more than likely but the staff needs an overhaul to help him.
