We might be bad and retarded, but pelicans are playing hard most every game. Including this one.

Not enough shooting to compete. Unfortunately.

Can you blame him? 5 game win streak just to piss it all away.

It’s tiring

Pels forget how to shoot or take care of the ball at the end of games. frustrating

They also forget how to score, pass, dribble, rebound, and play defense

Yea they really did. That was a painful sweep. Had a chance to really reposition the season.

Instead . . . we are just arse. Queen is great. Fears is promising. But this team is bad with little hope of not being bad until the 2027 draft.

We don't fare well against teams who shoot well and have multiple shooters. That isn't going to change regardless of what we do this year. That's the limit of the roster construction.

Last two games showed how important Herb is for that team. So if we end up trading him, better be for 3-4 firsts.

You can’t just give up wide open 3s on defense. It is lazy effort. I am not sure the Suns could have scored wide open in the paint.

I think we'll end up getting 2 FRPs for Herb...Lakers don't have the "picks" available to do that. I used to think it would be Lakers or Warriors...but, as strange as it sounds...I'm starting to think the Thunder might end up in the Herb sweepstakes.

Thunder just have SO many FRPs...and I think they are starting to worry about the Spurs. But, who knows?

OKC could give up picks and or some decent players too in a package deal, and we can maybe get rid of Hawkins or something. I’d hate to see Herb go but I guess if it’s a franchise altering offer you have to do it.

But yeah being without Herb we are lost on defense the last few games.

Zion and Trey are just so soft.

Any time Dillon Brooks guarded either, they're so scared of him, they just play hot potato and get rid of the ball ASAP.

Zion tries to post Brooks up, Brooks battles and Zion immediately stops trying... every single time.

Contrast that with Queen, who each time tonight he went at Brooks, took the contact, kept going and easily got past him any time he wanted.
