Pels make Grizz trade semi-official

Normally you wouldn't hear official confirmation of anything until the whole trade was done. Maybe the league is tired of being criticized about the hat switching?

I like this. Gets rid of the illusion that these guys aren’t with their actual team and still allows the bigger trade to go down and be expanded. Better than nothing like before

Seriously though, Jaxson, NAW and Didi missed the first summer league game while the trade was happening and I'm pretty sure that the teams didn't comment on them until the trade was done. I'm wondering if this is nothing more than a news release or if it means Murphy can go ahead and be with the Pels before the trade is fully consumated.

I see where Murphy has done some interviews as a Pel today. Did anyone see if he was asked about his availability? Again, this is very unusual and it seems like we might not have to wait until the trade is fully done for him to join the team.
