It’s pretty simple: When Murphy makes shots, this team is unguardable. Since he entered the league, the Pelicans are 27-6 when Murphy makes at least four 3-pointers in a game, including wins in each of the last 11 games he has reached that number. If the Pelicans have any chance of winning at the highest level, Murphy must be a huge part of that equation.

As he goes, so go the Pelicans.

People will be afraid of the Pelicans in the playoff if Zion is active and Trey is cooking. They are the perfect offensive compliments, and may just hit their groove together this season at the exact right time.

The most valuable thing you can do on an nba court is make a 3 and Trey has the potential to do that as well as anyone over the next 5-7 years.

I watched the 10 min highlites reel. Was amazed. The offence on this team gets you such wide open three point shots.

back in the day you could look at the box score after the game without watchign the game, and see what Peja did from 3, and it was an extremely good indication if we won or lost depending on how he shot from 3.

Trey is getting near that same way, although we can overcome him not shooting well, whereas we couldn't with Peja.
And CJ has actually been in a mini slump the last 10 games shooting only 35% from 3, but when either Trey or CJ can jack up 10-12 3's in any given game and hit 6-8 of them, it's going to be tough to beat us, especially if both are on.
