I'm excited that our depth has played so well lately despite the injuries.
Rivers/Ajinca/Morrow/Babbit and Roberts(if he comes back) will be a pretty legit bench force.
That's not even counting the return of Ryno
We also have jackson stashed away

Rivers had a really nice game:
16 points 6 rebounds 3 assists 2 steals
Shooting wasn't amazing(8-18) but played good D as well.

Just a bad game and tough to watch. The Spurs put on a clinic and did it with their back-ups mainly. I don't understand what they are talking about on the post game show. How is this a moral victory? They got destroyed. The game wasn't close the entire 2nd half. At least the season is almost over..

Yeah without half of our team and the guys that just came back aren't exactly 100%
If AD played we would've have a good shot at winning this.
Outscored them 55-44 in the second half

We lost. By a lot. It wasn't a competitive game. I watched the whole game. There were a couple of bright spots. I thought Roberts played pretty well, but everybody was either tired or just played sloppy.
It would have been a different game with AD, but it doesn't need to be pointed out every time someone comments on the game. We have major injuries, that's not going to change. It just sounds like you are making excuses and you don't need to do it. They lost to a great team and didn't look good doing it. I'm not praising them for it..

i thought they played well overall after the shite first quarter.

Umm.....they were within 10 in the second half. Only an 11 point game to start the 4th iirc. Saying the game would have been different with Davis isn't making an excuse at all, IMO.
They could have played better, sure, but it's not like they went out there and laid down for SA like the Nuggets did in our previous game.

You don't mention that the Spurs played without two starters and emptied the bench in the 2nd quarter. I'm not trying to hate on the team, just didn't take many positives out of it..

The team has showed plenty of damn grit over the past few weeks regardless of injury.
I for one am glad they're playing their arse off and not giving up.
That'll help them down the road to be sure.

Well yeah, I am too. I wish he would play the younger guys more, but they did get some good minutes tonight (except Withey).
I do hope Roberts gets to start more the rest of the season though. The guy has tried his best the whole year and he deserves the chance to play for a better contract. I'll lose a lot of respect for Monty or the front office if they intentionally try to sabotage his value to keep him next year..

They can start him the next couple of games then bench him for rivers(which monty should've done long ago)
I wouldn't be suprised if we packaged roberts for something
