Douglas is turning into a weapon

Hell I'm OK if we just switch Cole/TD

At least we have some cap flexibility and two very good players to build around. I'd rather make the playoffs again.

The problem with making the playoffs is you probably don't trade anybody. The team needs to cash out any assets of value that won't be here long term.

Yeah, I'm real love/hate with Reke. I think he's a good player but I don't know if he's a center piece of a consistent playoff team. He's a bad fit for Gentry as well.

Yep, its definitely a square peg/round hole scenario, which is what a lot of people thought when we signed him. I don't think its worked out and if we can get a pick or a young SF for him I say trade him

I was annoyed by the amount of ISO at the end of the game. I know Jrue was hot but I would have liked to see them move the ball. We've been winning games because of our high assist rate, hate to see the ball stop at the end.

I agree. But we didn't have Davis and Anderson was clearly gassed the whole 4th quarter. Made it tough on the offense late.

I'm not optimistic that a trade of Anderson or Gordon gets us anything better than just letting them expire.

Gordon definitely isn't tradeable at this point since he'll be out till the trade deadline. And you won't get that much for Anderson but that still might be better than letting him walk in the Summer, because someone will overpay for him

Not really true according to what I've seen

A few NBA guys on twitter have said it won't scare teams off.

I'm doubting that. I don't really get what trading for an expiring at the deadline coming off an injury does for anyone

He may miss 1 game at most

I don't think the pels will be asking a kings ransom either

Its not inconceivable

I would think resigning Gordon would be cheaper than Anderson honestly, so if the return is too small I wouldn't mind seeing if we can get a solid 2 year deal over the summer worked out

@usnfish:

Jrue Holiday accounted for 28 of the last 35 points for the Pelicans tonight. That's absurd.

EG is pretty easily replaceable with Ish, Cole, Toney type players. I honestly wouldn't resign him for anything above league minimum.
