The easiest way to explain it is this well known basketball saying.
"You never trade 4 quarters for a dollar."
MEANING - stars are worth more then their "equal value" in role players.
WHY? Because there are only 5 players on the court -- that one ELITE "dollar" level makes a huge difference, versus the remaining quarters. Cost versus replacement - etc.
In my opinion, we just traded 2 quarters and a dime..... for a 2 dollar bill!

At work, so can't post from Twitter, but just saw that the Pels sent Benson's private plane to pick up Boogie and Casspi this morning with Demps and Gentry on board.
I think this is smart on so many levels. First, it makes Boogie feel like a big deal and sets us on the right foot with him. Secondly, it allows Gentry to speak to him, unimpeded, for 4-5 hours about plans and rotations and the like. Wondering if AD was on the flight too. First class move by a normally second class organization.
