I agree with NoFox. If they don't need an extra piece to make the playoffs keep your powder dry.
Use it this year and you turn Asik into a 3rd big rental. Use it in the offseason and maybe you turn Moore/Ajinca into a Luwawu or Valentine, can bring back Rondo/Nelson and have a little cap space to replace Moore. And you can do that while staying out of the tax with Asik still on the roster and becoming a closer to neutral contract the closer you get to the next trade deadline.

I still think the best case scenario with Asik is that we do well with him on the roster this year, go into next year and get better with him still on the roster, and trade him at the deadline with whoever/whatever else is needed for a starting SF.
