The fact that Luka carries their shitty roster the way he does shows you how many levels above Zion he is. No guarantee that Zion is ever as good of a number 1 as Luka is now.
That being said. Zion is the clear number 2 young player in the league. Luka is just that good.
I believe Zion is significantly more talented than Luka. The main difference is that Luka dominates the ball and Zion doesn't -- Luka's usage was 37% and Zion's was 30% last year. We need Zion to understand that a drive and shot by him is going to produce a better result than if he hands the ball off and someone else ends up shooting it. The other difference is leadership, and I just think that the fact that Luka is two years older is the main reason for that.

His handle has to improve first.

Watch his handles significantly improve when teams no longer can cheat off the perimeter as much as they do to hack him. Giannis rarely gets stripped because he almost always picks up his dribble before he get past the key when driving to the basket. That has a lot to do with spacing. Zion tends to get the ball on the high post and dribbles into the paint with 3-5 guys collapsing before he can pick up his dribble.
His handles can definitely improve but I don't think its going to be an issue with good spacing.
