Yea I seriously do not understand how some people like Pelicans. That'll strike fear into the hearts of foes

Pelicans looks cool.
Why do people think the team name has to strike fear into anyone? A name doesn't scare a god damn person.
A bobcat is scarier than Knickerbockers but they fricking suck.

I was joking about the fear thing as there are tons of other pro sports teams with mascots that aren't exactly fierce.
But Pelicans just seems weak to me. We could do alot better than that

Cool is far more important than "fierce" or "scary".
I'm down with Pelicans or Brass. Maybe the Crescents, Buccaneers, Privateers or Breakers. Don't like Krewe, ArcAngels, and VooDoo has been spoiled for me . . . plus it's very corny.
