I am just using logic. With Zion back and the McCollum addition, he is going to have less touches and his scoring will be down. He should be in that 20ppg range. Going to be difficult to be an allstar, unless his defense becomes elite.
No, you threw an arbitrary number out and are now trying to reverse engineer it. Ingram is the prime scorer between he and CJ. The role between the three of them is yet to be defined, but Ingram is the most versatile of the three. He’ll have less focus by the defense….additionally All Star nods are about wins…see Klay and Dray, the Hawks in 2015, the Pistons in the 00s. Three guys can put up big numbers as well.

Its a super crowded field with a lot of elevating players and returners from injury this season. I don't think it's slotted by positions either. They just take the best players as reserves.
And Ingram is a top 20 player…others before are on the decline.
quote:
It's 50/50 someone gets hurts and he can be showcased again. Otherwise he is not getting the numbers necessary to get in. We have seen him play with both of the other guys and his numbers decline. He was down across the board last year. Plus he'd have to stay healthy as well.
His numbers-dude was triple teamed for 3/4 of the year. He’ll have more open shots, provided Zions gravity.

You always reference the O/T and Poli board.

There are guys that generate 100 pages of hate threads and never get banned. I'm not calling anyone names or ever mention anything personal. I believe I am pretty safe..
As pointed out, repeatedly by an ever growing number here, you don’t bring anything to the table but asinine takes. Excuse me, not asinine, retarded. Retarded takes.

This is somewhat true. I just picked out a number. Looking at it, I probably overshot and he chances are a bit lower.

Very true. That's what I have seen as well. There have been as many as 4 guys from the same team. So it would not be odd to have 2 or 3.

Who specifically are you thinking about?
James is certainly on the decline. But I believe he is a lock, barring injury.
Out of last years allstars. Paul seems iffy to me. Wiggins and Green are borderline but popularity is going to be hard to overcome. Mitchell might be traded and I don't anticipate Gobert making it.
That is a possible 5 new spots for this coming year. It is a ridiculous group of guys that would be vying for it. Zion, Lillard, Leonard, George, A. Davis, Murray, Sabonis, of course Ingram and McCollum, SGA, A. Edwards.
But there are also young players that are going to get a ton of stats on bad teams like Giddey and J. Green. Someone like Keldon Johnson has a great chance too, as he's going to score close to 25ppg and he is the only person for Spurs fans to vote.

That hasn't been the case in the past. He has played better without. But hopefully you are right.
Out of the groups I listed, where would you slot Ingram as far as allstar possibility? Who would he ascend over?

Josh Giddey Jalen Green and Keldon Johnson have a greater chance than Brandon Ingram.
That’s your statement. What a troll job. Bravo

Yeah. I'm a dumbass for thinking you would have anything constructive or somewhat educated to contribute. Everytime I try to be the bigger man and communicate kindly you act out like a petulant child, then spew out chicken shite quips trying to drag me down in the gutter with you. You are just toxic and I blame myself for falling into this trap again..

You are right, you are a dumbass. You are getting lapped when comes to contributions of nba knowledge to this thread.
Bigger man? No, you’re trolling. Good stats on bad teams-especially very young players don’t make nor should they make it. Brandon Ingram is an established star player who’s still approaching his prime and your simping for lottery team guy. What world do you live in where bottom 3 teams theoretical top scorers have a better chance than a contending teams most complete and competent scorer who rose to stardom last playoffs? Who’s also been an All Star before?
You’re a massive troll, who when called out for it, pretends to be on the high road. When in reality, just a bitch. And a retarded one at that.

You think so? CJ averaged more points than BI last season. I think they are close, and wouldn't be surprised if CJ averaged more points than BI next season.

Ingram was also playing through and with a bad hammy.
I envision CJ being the third option(maybe even the 4th) by design next year. The hierarchy was made clear in the playoffs, imo.
It’s a good problem to have either way. Lot of open looks for the core 4

I feel like CJ will “fit” better with Zion than BI. Not saying that BI won’t get his own opportunities, but CJ will definitely get some open looks from 3.

I envision him more as a conduit between the two.

Absolutely, Zion opens the shooting up when he's on the court. It's going to be a fun season boys, injuries will happen but let's hope for the best on them being minimal and not season-ending in November.
