Why is every one comparing West and Anderson, when the Davis plays/starts at PF? I love West, but unless Davis packs on 30+lbs there really isn't a spot for him. Davis is the starting PF. Anderson is an awesome bench scorer that plays 3 different spots and should be competing for 6th man of the year. Team has got much bigger needs..

West was a great player who caught waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much shite from a few people on the board. Clutch scorer, better defender and rebounder than the haters were willing to acknowledge (not great but adequate if other positions had been filled). Great team leader and very, very tough. He, Tyson and CP3 were a terrific core. Unfortunately, the Walrus and Shinn never came up with an answer at the 2 and 3.

Time was right for him to go, unfortunately. It makes zero sense to compare him to position players on the team now. Different circumstances entirely.
