Lidell was a 1st rounder in most mocks

Dude consistently improved in his 3 years at Ohio State. His 3pt% went from 19% freshman year to 38% last year. He was also the hustle guy for the Buckeyes and will fit in nicely with Jose, Lance, and Trey. Excellent pick

Yeah, I was thinking Liddell might be a Pels target if we traded back with Charlotte for 13 & 15. High IQ player and weakside rim protector who also shot 38% from deep.
He actually kind of reminds me of Nance. Good vertical and 7'wingspan. He doesn't look like an elite athlete, but his numbers are sneaky impressive...

I really liked him. I was always thought in the NBA he could be PJ Tucker but with a much better and consistent 3pt shot. He’s a dog and will be a guy pushing to get some solid minutes come middle of the season. Amazing value and if he never pans out, so be it but I think his defense and spot of 3 will keep him in the league.

Did you not watch the draft, jay bilas was talking about him being a possible pick when teams were on the clock in the late teens.
