Lewis the fastest player in franchise history?Posted by BayouRat15

Lewis will be fun to watch. I dont think since CP3 that we had a ball handler with the acceleration and the speed this kid has. Been needing this for a long time. If he is compared to Ja Morant lite and Fox yall better lookout! I'm excited Hoss

Remember we were trying to trade the pick when we were on the clock? Pretty glad that didn't end up happening

I've been looking in comparisons of Lewis and Fox since the draft. I didn't realize Fox actually came in lighter than Lewis. Now he's up to almost 190. Gives me hope for Lewis and to me that's his only major flaw.

He doesn't appear to me a guy like BI for whom it's nigh on impossible to put on weight. He should be right

This is from a pre draft interview:

quote:
He's wolfing down meats, fruits and vegetables, guzzling protein shake after protein shake. During his second season with the Crimson Tide, Lewis would fluctuate around the low 160s. Now, he says he's bulked up to about 177 pounds. On good days, the scale reads above 180. "I feel a lot bigger. I feel a lot more explosive on the court," he says.

CP3 was fast as shite. Re-watching the 2008 Spurs series reaffirmed that.
