I hope just Charlotte doesn't take the name back. I'd love to see us bust out Hornet throwbacks down the road

Agreed! Although I do love the Sonics colors. I'd like to see them back next year

I doubt we'd see them next year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them 10-15 years down the road

Probably another reason why the Thunder haven't worn Sonic stuff yet. Not far enough removed

the Thunder ownership do not own the Sonics moniker (or any of the team's history for that matter)... that belongs to the NBA and can only be used by a team in Seattle

kinda like the Browns when the original team moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens... league made sure the name/colors/logos/history stayed in the original city
