Jrue just re-signed with Nike on a multi-year deal
I will laugh hysterically if he gets a shoe deal before AD (I know we are over it but I just think it'd be comical)

I thought you couldn’t make any endorsement money playing in NOLA though.
Good for Jrue though and we might have a few others get some deals if they play like they are capable of.

Davis had endorsements. Westbrook had endorsements in OKC. Giannis is one of the biggest stars in the world in Milwaukee.
He never got the press he wanted (some Pels fans thought deserved) because he has no personality and the Pels sucked for almost all of his time in NO.
He'll get more visibility being in LA w/ LeBron on a title contender, but he still is just flat out uninteresting off the court. Unless that changes, he's never getting the massive $$/hype he seems to be seeking

On top of not having a personality and a marble mouth, he also isn't exactly a looker.
Basically, if you constructed the ideal archetype to be the face of the league, Davis is almost the opposite of whatever you would come up with. Even in LA or NY his star power is limited.

Personally think that's the main reason why he's done what he's done (trade request, Shop, etc.) is to give out the impression that he's got more personality than people think and that he reason he hasn't been able to show it is because of NOLA. It's backfiring.
