Have you watched this team? The mistakes? The horrible lineups? Zion can't fix that.

I'm not a Gentry fan by no means, but to think that Zion won't make a difference is crazy. Jrue threw a pass to Okafor under the basket on a break and lost the ball. If that's Zion, it's points and in a one possession every point matters. I love the way Jackson plays and has enormous potential, but he's too light to fight for position for rebounds. You put Zion in that position and he's grabbing those boards. A lot of these losses early in the season has come down to a few possessions here and there, and once Zion returns he'll be the difference.

There is also things Zion cant help. That Jrue pass was bad inbounds. Zion isnt making that 3 that JJ attempted. Zion does not do rotations. This is a team issue.

Nope, I’m going to enjoy watching this team develop. It would be monumental frick up to tank this season. It would accomplish nothing but an empty SKC. And waste the core of what could be a very strong team.
