The Pelicans dodged a bullet.

no Oden went to a team where he can rehab and get better and when plugged in hes on a really good team that needs him and will utilize him correclty to win a 3rd championship in a row.....
Im a pelicans fan, but just saying Miami was the best fit for Oden. He may have just blown out another knee in NOLA and never played if he would have came here...

it's not a surprise. they are bringing him along very slowly. dude played like 3 total minutes in the preseason. he probably wont be active for a few more months and even then he will get minute restrictions.
