Is this team somewhat comparable to SVG magic finals team?

Eric Bledsoe better version of Jameer Nelson
Zion comparable to Dwight
Ingram / Rashard Lewis in some ways
Redick
Melli lesser version of Hedo Turk
Stan wanted this job specifically; unfinished business
Bledsoe was all but traded according to everyone, bet Stan lobbied to keep him

Not really and Stan himself basically said as much in his press conference.
We are going to be built rather uniquely compared to the rest of the league in featuring two around the rim bigs and a set of wing/guard players with rather unique skillsets.
Orlando was really a 4 out team with a dominant 5.
We may feature some lineups that attempt that with Zion at the 5 or even moving Zion to the three and putting Melli in there at the 4 next to Adams, but I think the identity of this team is probably going to be a lot less perimeter orientated than that Magic team. And it sort of has to be given the personnel. And tbh, I think we will see a lot less Zion at the 5 than many think given some of SVG’s comments about his points of emphasis of creating an identity around tough interior defense and good transition D while becoming a much better defensive rebounding team(called us excellent offensively but that it was almost entirely negated by how poor our defensive rebounding was)

let me know when Melli averages 17/5/5 and 36% from 3, and that was a down year for Hedo, and the beginning of his steady decline.

I think more importantly is part of what we should appreciate about SVG is that unlike Gentry, he is not someone that is going to try and force a system on the players but let the players dictate the system.
Remembering back to Gentry’s intro pressers vs SVG’s that is what stuck out to me. Gentry constantly talked about how guys could or needed to fit to the ideal system he had in mind, SVG speaks mostly of how he can use personnel to devise a system to achieve his goals.
