Marcus Thornton also didn't play at a college that plays team ball. He was key and had to shoot a ton for LSU, and he became accustomed to firing off when he had a chance. Monty wasn't going to have that shite. Rivers played for a squad that gets success in its team ball at Duke, and I think that's his upside. I think he adds enough of an explosive piece to the puzzle to keep him around. The real question is whether or not Eric Gordon can stay healthy.

Duke stars, for all their "team ball" bullshite, rarely ever become stars in the NBA. I cant think of many. (boozer was sort of good a few years ago and grant hill was decent back in the 90's before his injuries) Duke is a school that white kids can go to to stay semi-relevant in basketball because of the way Shisheffski coaches. Not knocking Duke but that's what they are pretty much.

Umm I'm pretty sure Duke led the league last year with the most players in the NBA. One of those players was the ROY & could possibly be the best PG in the league in 5 years. So get this shite outta here.
