frick that. I'm very much aware of the lottery, the odds and the importance of the upcoming draft. But this team will have decent draft choices regardless. frick the Knicks.

And frick "tanking." fricking loser pissboy attitude. If you hope we lose games, I hope we don't get Anthony Davis just so the tankers have to eat shite.

we are 7-23...it's not like the "tankers" love watchin the hornets lose every game and be terrible. It's not a "loser pissboy" attitude. It's just a non-short sighted one. The Hornets best chance to be a playoff team soon is to get a stud in the draft. That's the way it works in the NBA for teams like the Hornets. Cheering so hard for 22 wins instead of 14 is the actual losing attitude. It's a good opportunity in a short season, in a talented draft, to start over with a potential star...not gonna get that outside of the top 5

If the hornets had any real chance to make the playoffs, then it would be different. We have lost to so many garbage teams this season, and now we are on a three game win streak.

I love seein the Hornets win too...that's why I'm a tanker...because I want to see many more wins in the future

There is a difference in taking solace in losses and openly hoping for them, which is loser pissboy.

but there isn't really...

only two sides that i see: hornets win fewer games this season, have better chance at better player in draft and more wins in the future.

or

hornets win more games this season, still having a terrible record, giving us less chance of getting a good player and fewer wins in the future. I can't understand this side. I definitely could if the Hornets could get anywhere near .500, but they can't.

things could change or something could happen, and we could luckily get a better player with a later pick, but the odds of that aren't in our favor. I have watched a lot of Hornets losses. I can watch a few more for the possible excitement of a chris paul like rejuvenation. I don't care about 5 to 10 more wins in this 7-23 sesason.

I also see two ways to look at a Hornets game:

Hope Hornets win

Or

Hope Hornets lose

I, personally, will always hope the Hornets win. 100% of the time. Trading actual wins for ping pong balls doesn't make sense to me.

It's weird, really. I want the best of both worlds. This group of guys has been busting its arse, and I like seeing them come away with a victory. At the end of the season, I'd like for us to have a great lottery shot. But when it comes to individual games, I can't pull against my home team.

it's not that simple...some wins ARE meaningless.

i understand the lottery is not this simple, but would you not choose 15 wins and the #1 pick over 22 wins and the #2 or #3 pick?

ya, it's not like i'm yelling at the screen every time the hornets score...i am just sitting back and recognizing this season for what it is...watching the development of young players and seeing what players i think are a good fit to keep when we are winning.

There is just no disappointment from me when the Hornets lose, unlike other seasons

There is mild disappointment for me. I just want to support the team in what they're trying to do, and I'm sure they all want to win.

i respect that. I just think that more losses this season means more net wins for the next few years. I want to support this team too. I will pay to see them play whenever I can regardless of record...i'm just very optimistic that we could land a star, and with the building blocks we are developing this season, could make it out of the second round of the playoffs one day
